Brief history of Dhammachaya Buddhist Center

Venerable Kusalasami started his missionary works in Europe countries since he arrived at Germany on 2014. He visits several countries for Dhamma Talk for Myanmar people. In 2015, he was invited by Mr. Tin Nyaunt and Myanmar Buddhist people who are living in Horve, Denmark. Since then he occasionally goes there and gives Dhamma talk. 

In 2016, Venerable Kusalasami had an idea to establish a Buddhist center in anywhere in need and started finding a suitable place. At the same time, he is organizing fund to establish new Buddhist center. One day when I expressed my idea to Myanmar Buddhists, who are living in/near Horve, they implored Venerable Kusalasami to buy a suitable place in/near Horve. They said that Venerable buy a place for center and they will be responsible for maintenance of the place. Therefore Ven. Kusalasami decided to start a new center and returned to Myanmar to ask support for new center. 

Thanks to Ven. Sujata, Ven. Sumangala, Ven. Uttara, Ven. Vicitta, Ven. Uttamasara, Ko Myat Kyaw family, Ko Aung Myo Oo family and Ko Win Kyaw Lin family, Ven. Kusalasami has got sufficient fund for the establishment of new center. Meanwhile Myanmar Buddhists from Denmark and other countries donate as much as they can. Finally we can hold opening ceremony of Dhammachaya Buddhist Center on 20^thJuly 2017.
